PortraitsWest is an online gallery dealing exclusively in portraits by prize winning contemporary artist Ben Hughes.

His distinctive and unique style has won him praise across the south west. Colourful semi abstract backgrounds contrast with his central subject to bring a sitter to life as well as creating a visually stunning painting.

His prizes include the Davison Award from the Royal Society of British Artists and the Best Emerging Artist Prize and Viewers Choice Award from the Royal West of England Academy. He has exhibited widely across the south of England and his work is included in numerous private collections including Standard Chartered Bank.
